Meet Elizabeth
My story is much the same as many of you. I spent close to twenty years in an industry that demonstrated very little loyalty to employees and created an enormous amount of stress in my life. When I became President, I thought I had reached the pinnacle of recognition and success, only to realize that this achievement was very superficial and not fulfilling my sense of being.
After taking stock of how I felt, I resigned and began a journey of soul searching to find the answer to the elusive question:
"Now what … ?"
Today, my work is a reflection of my passion to help and support people in their own development to be truly happy and fulfilled., and to help organizations bring the compassion needed to support their employees.
As a certified developmental coach, and a certified meditation and mindfulness facilitator, with over 20 years of experience, my clients value my ability to get to the heart of the matter in a compassionate yet challenging way. My passion for leadership, both at the organizational and personal level, helps and supports my clients in achieving personal and professional goals with greater purpose, meaning, happiness and less stress.
I use various methodologies, integrating principles of mindfulness, to create the self-awareness necessary to remove blockages and move forward.
I hold a degree in clinical psychology from McGill University in Montreal, and a certificate in Applied Mindfulness and Meditation from the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work - University of Toronto.
I am trained in the Secretan Centre Higher Ground Leadership® principles as well as certified in developmental coaching, Transformative Mindfulness, the Five Tibetan Yogas and Laughter Yoga. I am an international accredited facilitator for the Foundation for Developing Compassion and Wisdom. Being bilingual in English and French allows me to offer coaching and workshops in both languages.
